Arsenal Football Academy is the football development department for Arsenal Football Club, based at Hale End Sports Ground, offering a full time football training programme for elite youth players.
Arsenal Football Club Academy has for many years been a world leader in its field and is a constantly growing department within the organisation.
The aim of the Arsenal Football Academy is to individually tailor each boy's development as a footballer by providing a World Class Youth Development programme. The programme promotes the development of elite training environments to consistently outperform international competition. By placing players at the heart of the programme the aim is to develop and grow future Premier League players in an environment which is challenging, developmental and inspirational.
The coaching programme is the core activity of the Academy which is supported by a fully integrated programme of Athletic Develoment, Education and Games.
We are currently searching for experienced casual coaches across three key phases of Youth Development:
Foundation Phase (9-11 Years)
Early Youth Development (12-14 Years)
Advanced Youth Development Phase (15-16 Years)
The successful candidates will oversee and deliver the training programme of the relevant age group, and assist the age groups directly below and above, whilst working closely with support departments to deliver both on and off field success.
UEFA B Coaching Award (or working towards).
FA Youth Award Module 3 (or working towards).
Valid FA Licensed Coaches Club Membership.
Up to date Safeguarding Children Certificate and Emergency Aid.
The ability to communicate effectively with parents, coaches and players of varying ages and experience.
The ability to produce written and verbal reports.
A successful and verifiable record of coaching young players at Academy level.
Moderate IT skills (minimum).
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check for regulated activity.
